Description

HB-30 will effectively remove limescale and slime which are common problems in ice machines and will disinfect all surfaces. Limescale results when minerals slowly concentrate in the water and precipitate out onto the freezing surfaces. Ice sticks to the scale and this jams the machine. Fungi and slime then build up, allowing bacteria to grow and contaminate the ice product. Slime can also give the ice a bad taste or odour, while pathogens in the contaminated ice may pass on diseases.
